Arthur Rowan is a staff director in residence at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire on the grounds of Mt. Hope Estate in central PA, where he works as a writer, composer, director, fight choreographer, and performer.
He graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2001 with a degree in Theatre. Before coming to PA, he worked with several companies in the DC area, including The Folger Theater, American Century, Horizons Theater, Theater IV, and the Washington Shakespeare Company.
An experienced stage combatant and fight choreographer, Arthur has trained in all weapon styles offered by the SAFD (and a few more besides), including Rapier and Dagger, Broadsword, Knife, Unarmed, Quarterstaff, Small Sword, Single Sword, Case Rapier, and Lightsaber.
